Valtec Hydraulics, Inc. offers a clean, well-maintained working environment, which utilizes the latest in technology and equipment. Our attractive 17,000 square foot manufacturing and repair facility is located in north St. Louis, Missouri. We have experienced substantial growth over the past few years, and our employees are a vital part of that growth. That's why from the beginning, we have adopted policies and benefits that are among the best in the industry.

Benefits
Currently, eligible employees may take part in benefit programs that are included in our cafeteria plan. These benefits are paid for with pre-tax payroll money. Our current health insurance plan is available to all eligible employees and their dependents for access to medical insurance. The plan provides all employees access to medical, and prescription drug, with a minimal deductible charge.or co-pays.

Voluntary dental, eye care, short term, and long-term disability plans, Aflac™ accidental and medical insurance are all also available for those choosing to participate. We also carry workmen's compensation insurance that covers work-related injuries. Eligible employees can also participate in our 401k-retirement plan, and our flexible spending account (FSA).

 
Paid Time Off

Although time at work is valuable, it is equally important that employees spend time away from work to rest and relax. This is why we honor seven paid holidays through the year, and offer vacation days depending on length of service: 1 year = 5 days, 2 years = 10 days, & 10 years = 15 days.

Purchase Program
We are pleased to offer a small tool purchase program to assist employees in purchases of tools that will help the performance of the job. The company will pay the invoice and the employee will be responsible for repayment through payroll deductions, with a $25.00 minimum weekly deduction.
